To my valued clients-
As you may know, Ohio has amended its Stay Safe Ohio Order to allow salons to re-open on Friday, May 15th, 2020.
In order to allow for appropriate scheduling and safety preparations, I will reopen on Monday, May 18th. I will be working extended hours for the first few weeks in order to accommodate all clients.
I will start calling clients on Wednesday, May 13th to schedule appointments. I ask that you respond to my call or message that is left for you as soon as possible to ensure that you have the best chance at getting the day and time that best works for you.
Below are the policies and practices in place for this re-opening:
- Scheduling priority will be:
- appointments that were canceled directly following the announcement of the shutdown
- those with standing appointments, pre-paid appointments or with deposits
- . . .followed by all other appointments
- Any client in an at-risk group/vulnerable population can be serviced in a private, closed door room which will be thoroughly sanitized and disinfected in between use.
- Everyone WILL BE REQUIRED to wear a mask upon entering the suite and during the entire duration of the service. There are NO exceptions.
- If you are sick or not feeling well, please let me know as soon as you can so we can reschedule your appointment.
- While salons are not required to perform symptom assessments on each customer, if you have arrive with a fever or any CDC listed symptom (cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, etc.), you will be asked to leave immediately.
- If you need to sneeze or cough (unrelated to illness obviously), although you will be wearing a mask, please sneeze/cough on the inside of your elbow. If persistent cough/sneeze, you will be asked to leave prior to completing the service(s).
- There may be times where I will be taking 1-2 clients at a time depending on service. If you are not comfortable with this, please let me know at time of scheduling.
- I will provide sanitizer, but I ask if you have an individual size one that you bring it with you due to the shortages in stores and online.
- All magazines will be removed from the shop. If interested in purchasing products, please ask as I will not have them displayed, but will have available to the best of my ability. Please ask at time of scheduling to allow for items to be procured and available and/or to ensure your product is in stock.
- I will NOT be providing beverages, cookies or candy until further notice.
- Smocks will NOT be provided/used, and our changing room will be off limits until further notice.
- The service area will be thoroughly cleaned after each client.
- DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL, I WILL NOT BE CHECKING NOR RETURNING EMAIL RELATED TO SCHEDULING.
Please understand that the reopening of the shop will take much time and effort to ensure that everyone is safe: you, me, other customers. I ask for your patience and understanding as I go through the scheduling process, as I follow strict policies and procedures, and please know that I will as always do my very best to accommodate you, to accommodate everyone.
