APPOINTMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS

Thank you for choosing Exclusively Male Salon for your beard trim, pedicure, or other salon service. In order to best serve all of our guests and make sure everyone is well attended to, we do have a few simple policies in place that we ask you to observe. These are as follows:
  • We ask for 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations
  • Repeat no-shows or appointments canceled less than 24 hours will be charged the full amount of the scheduled service
  • Any guests not receiving a service are asked to remain in the waiting area
  • Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult
  • New clients should arrive 15 minutes before their first appointment
  • Children or disabled adults must have permission to get waxes and massages

PAYMENT INFORMATION

Exclusively Male Salon strives to provide a variety of convenient payment solutions for all of our clients. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, personal checks, and cash for all of our salon services. There is a fee for any returned checks. A credit card is required to reserve appointments over $50 for new clients, or for clients who have been inactive with us for six months or more. Thank you for your cooperation.
Credit/debit card payments are secured by use of one of the largest and most trusted PCI Compliance companies.

WAX FAQ

What should I expect?

A licensed and highly trained wax specialist will perform your service in a private room from start to finish. Gloves are worn during the entire service and all the instruments used will be properly sterilized using hospital grade disinfectant prior to your service. The area to be waxed will be properly pre treated and cleansed before the waxing services begins. Once all the hair and residual wax is removed, a soothing aloe treatment will be applied to the area to help reduce any redness or swelling that may occur. You will also be advised of any post care treatment at this time.

*All first time wax clients will receive a complimentary wax kit with instructions on how to care for your newly waxed area.

Is it painful?

Some discomfort is normal with any waxing service but our experienced and highly trained waxing specialists will make the process as painless possible.

What should I do to prepare?

1. To prepare for a waxing service, make sure that the hair is between 1/4 and 1/2 inch long. Hair that is shorter that 1/4 inch may not adhere to the wax, essentially causing the service to be ineffective.

2. Gently exfoliate the skin the day prior to the waxing service. Exfoliating not only removes dead skin build up but also lifts trapped hairs in and around the hair follicle allowing the wax to better grab the hair and not the skin. This helps to minimize discomforts during and after any hair waxing service.

3. Shower prior to your appointment.

4. Taking ibuprofen 1 hour before your appointment will help reduce pain and discomfort.

What is considered inappropriate behavior?

All services provided by Exclusive Male employees are strictly professional. Any behavior or language that is offensive and/or sexually suggestive in nature is considered inappropriate. Sometimes, but very rarely an inappropriate comment or phone call is received involving the service provided. This is considered harrassment and will not be tolerated. We respect our clients and we expect the same in return.
