Marie took ownership of Exclusively Male Salon in 2002 following a successful career of 10-plus years as a managing cosmetologist at the salon.

In 1988, Exclusively Male Salon established itself as the first and only salon for men in Cincinnati, and Marie has ensured the business remains true to its motto, “The Original and Still the Best” men’s salon in Cincinnati. Additionally, the business has remained in its original location for 30 years, serving as a model for a successful, breakthrough small business in the area.

Marie acquired Exclusively Male Salon from the original owners during a time of success and prosperity, which provided her the opportunity for a quality, respectful, and profitable transition. Marie has enjoyed a close personal and professional relationship with the original owners over the years.

She planned and oversaw two remodeling efforts, the latest of which saw the addition of a third service room to keep up with the demand for facial, massage, waxing, and pedicure services.

While continuing her tenure as owner, she maintains a vast and diverse clientele as a full-time cosmetologist.

Her expert knowledge in the field of cosmetology (practiced and honed over 25 years), combined with her dedication to running a successful business, naturally provides her with the opportunity to serve as a mentor to her staff. She has assisted and led many cosmologists and licensed massage therapists in their career advancement. This has allowed Exclusively Male to serve as an incubator for talent and remain a reputed place to establish a career in cosmetology and massage therapy in the Cincinnati area.

Marie’s intimate involvement in the training, instruction, and management of employees at Exclusively Male Salon nurtures the salon’s long history of offering its clients a special atmosphere where they can be pampered from head to toe.
