Home Delivery is handled by a professional delivery team. You can trust the work will be done correctly and we stand behind it.

Delivery Availability
hhgregg's home delivery is limited to zip codes located around our retail locations or distribution centers. To find out if you live within our normal delivery area, go to the Delivery Availability page. If you purchase a deliverable item online a Customer Service Professional will contact you within 24 hours to arrange your delivery. For information as to cost and what is included see Deluxe Delivery and Do's and Don'ts. As we add locations to our network of stores, our delivery area will expand. If your location is out of our delivery area, check back frequently to see if we have opened a store near you.

Same Day Delivery - Retail Stores
Retail Store - if you purchase any item before 2pm Monday through Saturday, we can deliver your product that very same day. Product must come from the store's stock and you must live within our same-day delivery zone. Ask any employee for information on our same-day delivery area.


Scheduling your online Home Delivery
If you purchase a deliverable item online a Customer Service Professional will contact you within 24 hours to arrange your delivery. For any questions about your home delivery you may contact us, or call (800) 284-7344. Our Customer Service Professionals are available anytime Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm (ET).

Retail Store Pickup (No Shipping or Delivery Charge)
Product Available for Pickup In 72 Hours


One advantage of picking up your purchase from one of our retail locations is that you avoid paying delivery or shipping charges. During the on-line order process, you'll be given the option to pick up your purchase from one of our store locations. All on-line purchases will be made available for pickup within 72 hours of your on-line purchase. Make sure to bring your on-line sales receipt, a picture ID and the credit card you used to make your purchase when picking up your purchase from one of our retail locations. The name on the ID must match the name on the purchasing credit card. To ensure the security of your online purchases, only the person who made the purchase may pick up the merchandise at a store. At the time of pickup, if the item(s) are offered at a lower price in the store, we will automatically credit the difference to your credit card.

hhgregg RETURNS EXCHANGES Close Window

In-Store Purchase Only

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. We've set some basic guidelines you'll need to keep in mind when making a return or requesting an exchange. Your local hhgregg retail location representative can answer any product-specific question you may have.

Requirements for full refund or exchange:

  • Item must be returned within 14 days of purchase.
  • You must have your original sales receipt.
  • Merchandise must be in its original carton along with all packing materials, accessories, product literature and warranty cards.
  • Merchandise must be in new condition.

If the item is returned within 14 days but the above conditions are not met, a minimum of 10% of the purchase price will be charged as a restocking fee. On all special orders, a 100% non-refundable down payment is required and will not be refunded if the order is cancelled or the item is returned. Cancellation of any services required for operation of a product (digital satellite system service, PCS or cellular phone, etc.), is the sole responsibility of the customer.

Refunds over $100 for cash or check sales will be paid by check within 10 to 14 business days after the item is returned or the order is cancelled. If the original sale was paid for with a credit card, the refund will be credited to the customer's credit card account.

If the purchased product fails while under manufacturer's warranty or an hhgregg Maintenance Agreement, hhgregg's factory-authorized service department will repair your product according to the terms of those agreements.

A Few Exceptions to these Policies

  • Delivery, installation and activation charges will not be refunded.
  • Digital satellite systems (audio or video) may not be returned or exchanged.
  • Activated pagers may not be returned or exchanged.
  • Bedding and Mattresses
  • Ink cartridges, ink tanks and fax cartridges may not be returned or exchanged.
  • Radar detectors may be returned for exchange only.
  • Cellular phones:
    • May not be refunded or exchanged
    • There are no refunds on activation fees
    • If contract is cancelled after more than 15 days, an early termination fee may be charged at the service provider's discretion

Returning or Exchanging Your Purchase

We've made returning your purchase a simple process! There are three ways to return your purchase(s):

Returns or Exchanges to Store:
Avoid additional shipping charges by returning your purchase(s) (along with the original sales receipt) to one of our retail locations. All original product manuals, accessories and literature are required in order avoid restocking fees.

Ship your Return or Exchange:
If your purchase was shipped to you or you're not able to visit our store call us toll-free to obtain a Return Authorization at (866)-WSGREGG (866-974-7344) Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm (ET) or Saturday 9am to 6pm (ET). Customers are responsible for any shipping costs incurred in returning or exchanging a product.

Request a Delivery Pick-Up for Returns or Exchanges:
If you are returning an item that was delivered to you please call toll-free at (866) 974-7344 to arrange a pick-up time with our Delivery Department, or contact us. Since your complete satisfaction is our goal, there is no charge for us to pick up your return. Home delivery and set up, hook-up charges and installation fees are not refundable.
